Thanks Bernie. Here's my own version, which is not designed for Chronocone, but is a little nicer to use when using a Trakmate etc. ASRA-double-elim-engine.ots
It requires OpenOffice...
If you just want to know who was fastest, then the qualifying sheet will sort that.
If you want to send riders off in lots of 4 then a new sheet will be need to be developed for the elimination rounds.
We used a new race format on Sunday - double elimination for the first two rounds, and then single elimination after that. It's single-run during the double-elimination rounds and dual-run during the single-elimination rounds.
Merrick, these spreadsheets assume that there will be timed qualifiers, which are used to seed riders into a 32-person draw, with two-man races. You could run a downhill race with it if you had a timer and could be bothered to run timed qualifying runs.
But you wanted to just use the 32-person draw you could enter bogus times into the "Qualifiers" sheet and then go from there.
