Haggy! how you doing?

I was on  a road trip around NT and SA about 10 years ago. Probably somewhere near Lake Eyre on a dolla shop pin tail with offroad wheels. It was the same week that Peter Falconia went missing.

I'd gotten the wheels to skate on a golf course (which is hilarious with golfers throwing putters and balls and getting all yuppie indignant) and was starting to roll down walking tracks with a bit of drift but hung up on a tree root and broke some ribs. Luckily for me around this time I got to see Daddow pumping on a long board at a Red Bull race and got clued in.

On that trip though I skated Kings canyon, around Ayres Rock and somewhere near Winton Qld there was a long downhill on the was back from a Dinosaur exhibit. It's a buzz skating down a deserted road with that crazy inland silence. 

Road trip anyone?

i was out that way no too long ago on a holiday.. just on a road trip with the family.. it is literally like that for hundreds of kilometres at a time.. with the occasional larger sized rock or shrub to look at. i wouldnt even consider skating out there though.. too hot and flat! even if the roads were nice and smooth i wouldnt bother! its pretty amazing out there though!
