I get why you think this is giving longboarders a bad rep, and if you really think that its going to cause a lot of trouble and you guys are going to refuse to chill and accept the fact that this bus was on a closed street and travelling about 5k's, then i'll take it down.
it was just a bit of fun, no one was hurt and we're all wearing our helmets.
skitching cop cars in the middle of traffic is a bit extreme, but the conditions under which we skitched the bus were totally safe; no traffic, a tiny hill, and all neccesary safety gear on.
say the word, ill delete it, i just think you all need to chill.

it's all gone a bit too far boys. Skate how you will, skate the way YOU want to, don't let haters tell you how to skate, does anyone really know the roots of this STREET sport does anyone remember their own roots?

The skate stigma that we are trying to overcome developed before most of us were even born, something we have to deal with, this type of footage is a fart in the wind and if it's such a decrement to the sports progress then just get rid of it. simple shit guys.
As much as I would love skating to be recognised as a respected sport, I also understand that there is only so much we can do, I'm not about to stop having fun so we can go to the Olympics. Not sure if they will let us pass the doob there jacko.
I'm not saying I'm all for it, just saying leave the fukas alone. They skate their way and we skate ours, that's the beauty of this sport. Freedom.

Skateboarding is dangerous. full stop. end of story. no need to isolate incidents as being more dangerous than others. fruitless debate. how is this photo representing a danger that is greater than bombing a hill with oncoming traffic? we assess situations and our own capabilities as they occur, as long as you believe you carry good judgment on both then GO FOR GOLD!

By the way, a friend of mine is in a wheelchair from hitting her head on the sand when she was surfing. shit happens. life happens. Doesn't mean I'm never going to surf again hey.
No need for the abuse either. If you wanna hate, do it quietly in the corner where no one can hear you but if you want to express an opinion then maybe learn how to do it without being so abusive.

P.s the death toll in Haiti has now topped 150,000 in the capital alone.... now that's something to get worked up about... not 5 guys hanging onto a bus.

Your missing the point, its not about whats dangerous and what isn't. Bombing hills might be dangerous and might be against the law. Skitching might be dangerous too, but it IS againt the law. In the end, just think b4 ya post photos like that to a site thats here to help you and your sport.
