I think its a great spot for spectators too. You could watch the whole race.
Sure its not kms long,... but its a technical run.

Comment by Joe on August 19, 2009 at 18:09: hahah hmm were basically sliding from one gutter to the next before switching it back the opposite way it would be so nuts trying to ride next to another rider in this estate it would look like a stunt show from a movie. Its good fun practising speedchecks and slides through every corner but yeah this estate is one fo a kind. We are having a session here on Saturday if you would like to join again Pete i totally understand if you give it a miss haha, just chucking it out there to who ever!

ASRA Admin Comment by Bugs on August 19, 2009 at 18:18: You could do a time trial; one rider at a time. Give everybody 5 runs each, fastest run wins. A few hay bales to guard against the lamp posts and you'd have a wild little race.

Its just the speeds you slide to slow down and once you past the lamp post you dont stop sliding its downhill all the way to the road and there is a locked gate at the bottom with the red surface they put on corners that would make it fun. The hoons have already dismantledthe the gate at the bottom so you can just pop it off the hinges.

And a third option - use the same sort of formula they use in moguls skiing where the winners are determined by a combination of speed AND style.

It's a photo that really fires the imagination. I wanna see some footage of somebody riding the thing.
