well if you put any sort of hanger against the solid ground, add about 70-90kgs on it and drag it at around 60-80km/h i think that would happen... any hanger in the world

It's always the nut on the left hand side of your trucks, cos the rotation of the wheels on that side is anticlockwise, and therefore loosens the nuts on that side. The wheels on the right-hand side spin clockwise and tend to tighten the nuts on that side.

Should the axle threads be the other way around on the left-hand side, just as the threads for pedals on bikes are? That way the rotation of the wheels would always be tightening your nuts. It would stop accidents like this, but perhaps it would create a lot of cross-threaded axles because people would forget and lapse into the habit of righty-tighty-lefty-loosy.

If threads were handed as such, the truck would need to be designated front or back. The left hand nut as a front truck comes loose, but when mounted as a rear truck the same nut tightens like you say.

easy way to solve problems like this.... check your equipment! If you can undo your loc-nuts with your fingers, your fucked...

rofl yeah jackos on to somethign there! man that sucks, i did that to my new paris trucks the daay i got em. smacked em on the dervish, thought id done all the nuts up tight.. forgot to do up one and went in for a carve and ate shit, lucky twas only at like 5kms ahah but put big scrape in my new trucks *sobs
