You can do it in a nice way and you can do it in an aggressive way. I think we could try and calm down the attacks on new riders on ASRA, for this common mistake. Not wearing a helmet is dangerous,..... but so is downhill skating.

I see kids like Harry everyday on the streets riding pintails and not wearing helmets. I dont yell out "get a helmet!"

To answer your question Harry.
If you started the slide with your hands on the ground in front of you its a toeside slide, if you started the slide with a hand down behind you its a Coleman slide. If, while you are sliding you start going one direction and then swing back in the opposite direction, its a Pendy.

Comment by Jonty on January 6, 2010 at 0:50: Thanks Matty. It's kind of a heelside/coleman, but instead of leaning back, you lean to the side and pull the board across. There is no name...I don't think, even though lots of people do it. Maybe you should call it the Allwood slide.
