Both Shannon Hearse and Scott Bouyer are people who would be great for you to talk to mate. Both of them would be happy to show a beginner like yourself a few things. Its also worth trying the West Aus Riders facebook page.

hey,

 I'm in your category too! But i've been off the road for a while as I'm about to have a baby in February,

but will be keen to get back to some form of cruising at some point. I started by doing some carpark sessions (in the city) and one or two trips out to the zig zag road in gooseberry hill with folk like Ian McGlynn, Craig Bond and Taz a few years back. but yeah, hit the facebook page and see where people are meeting up for some less intense action, and it'll be a good way to start

Thanks to both Jake Collins and Cath Price. Will deffo try the FB page. Btw, am 40 minutes away down south from Perth. But don't mind a trip up to city sometimes or in freo.
And how can I hook up with Shannon Hearse or Scott Bouyer? Experience riders who don't mind giving a noob some advices would b gr8 and appreciate that.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, been longboarding around my place in the perth hills for a couple of years, I was riding a freebord and now have a 41" drop. Have been doing Soldiers rd in roleystone and zig zags in kalamunda. Not ready for canning mills yet. There are plenty of good hills around bedfordale if anyone wants to catchup.
