Hell yeah

Welcome to the richest leg of downhill racing the world has ever seen. During 10 days in April the worlds best will converge on Australian shores for the start of the IGSA World Tour. Riders from North America, Europe, Africa, South America and Asia will face off against the best riders in Australia for $30,000 in cash and the title of worlds best.

It will be 10 days to examine the soul of a rider and determine if they can come out on top and take the title and the big dollars, or crash in a heap.

Welcome to the Australian World Cup leg, the richest, the biggest, and the craziest show on earth.

For those wondering about the race format at Newton's, we'll be using the triple-tree format again for the Open Skateboarding only. The only difference between this and the regular IGSA format is that the second timed qualifying run is replaced by three "trees" whereby people must race to qualify for the finals.

Good question Geoff.

The Juniors run the timed qualifiers along with everybody else, and the top 32 Juniors based on the qualifying times will be seeded into a Finals bracket. The Juniors can also race in the Open brackets if their qualifying times are good enough for them to get in.

Update: The racing schedule for Keira has been updated. It's also available in an easy-to-print PDF version.

Note: This schedule may change in coming weeks, and the times are estimates only, and will not exactly match reality on the day.

It starts at the intersection with the lookout road.

Does it start at the look out or the scout camp?
