yeah i'm an older beginner...i was just getting keen and then i fell pregnant, had a baby and still 12 mths later i'm finding it difficult to get out on the board a lot....but if you're going some where, let us know...i've been meaning to do a trip out to zigzags for ages.  i live in Subi, so anywhere nearby there would be good.

Hi Luca, Im 35 and there is a good group of older crew out.  Im in Mt Lawley, so quite close.  Lets catch up for a mellow sesh and Im happy to show you some of the basics like stopping!

I actually ride my long board to and from work, right through highgate so you might have seen me around :).

that'll be great! where is a good spot to practice? i went to east perth today, there are a couple hills not too steep where i tried the coleman slide.

Hey Luca,

i'm 30 next month and class myself in the beginner class. i skate with shannon on a fortnightly basis. i work away and am home 5 days fortnight. i am home on the 23rd till 28th. i am always down to skate when i am home.

There is a few good places around, for what you are looking for, you wont have to look too hard.  Try east perth, around the WACA / Trots.
At the moment I am out with Whooping Cough, so wont be coming out for another week or so.
Ill let you know next time I sesh the area! (I suspect it might be with Scott on thursday).

In the mean time, don't crash ay!

Ditto Luca and Cath, Just getting back on the board after being overseas and working away.  40 this year (going on 16) and keen for a cruise.  Back home in a week, for a week.  Definitely beginner class!
