Hey this is my most recent press. If anyone is interested in my boards let me know, im making a pintail, and sliding deck next. I use two layers of fibreglass and epoxy resin to glue the 6 sheets of veneer together, and this is my press so it gives other board builders an idea of some other presses.

Nice one bro! Timber molds take quite a bit of work..

A little tip - either cover your whole mold in clear packing tape or use a sheet of polyethelene (polyethelene painters covers available at bunnings for $2. Epoxy won't stick to either of these so your mold will stay clean and you won't glue your board yo your mold :)

Thanks heeps that was a problem with the first board, I work at bunnings so next time im down there ill pick some up

wow! that is an epic press

I made my first board (drop down) with a timber press. it was pretty time consuming!

haha yea im 15 so it was a bit time consuming :S took about 6 hours to make the press and jig :) payed off in the end, i love my new board

I'm 12, so It really did take time, but was worth the effort. I used just normal pine. (stupid decidion), because it started to delam, and then it snapped at a slide jam:(

Do you have any pics of the finished board yet?
