For Sale - Custom made heavy duty hydraulic press

 Ok so most of you probably know we are taking an extended break from building. Our press is just sitting in our workshop gathering dust. We would much rather see it being used for building awesome decks so its up for sale.

It features two 10 tonne Liftec rams with 200mm of stroke powered by a high quality Enerpac two speed hand pump. All the fittings, hoses and gauge are also Enerpac. The hydraulics were all bought brand new just over a year ago and can hold up to 700 psi of pressure indefinately. Less than half that is actually required to press a board

As you can see from the pic these rams push a 1220 x 400 x 10mm steel plate that is reinforced with two 150mm c channels that are all welded and gusseted. What does this mean? Extremely even pressure over the whole plate. Deflection is next to zero. Pressing multiple boards at once is a breeze.The base plate is adjustable up and down for different mold thicknesses and the custom made springs return the rams and plate to the top once pressure is released. The whole thing sits on heavy duty lockable rubber castors for easy transportation and movement around your workshop. Not shown in the photo below is the hand pump and the bracket it sits on that mounts on the side of the vertical upright.

We have designed and built this press with the same quality as our boards.The steel, materials and hydraulics alone for this beast cost around $4000 not to mention labour. We are looking for offers around $2500.
