ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

I want to sell my first skateboard of any kind, which I got close to three years ago.
It is a well loved Carveboard Wave, natural stain and 9ply. RRP was 600$Aus.

Overall only cosmetic damage.
Top of the deck has some ugly/persistent moss, though not affecting the ride and with some hard cleaning and left to dry in the sun for a day or two it should go away.
Grip tape is a bit battered, though would be good for barefoot riding.
Bottom of the deck has a few stickers and stencils, plus some long scratches.

Edit: Early on in it's life my dad modified it, by adding some metal plates between the truck bolts and the deck, I forget the proper reason, but it did make it a better ride.

Asking Price 200$ including shipping, reply if your interested and I'll try and get some pictures up!

pics would be great mate!
Persistent I may be but ugly I think is going a bit far
from (moss)Melbourne oldscool skate sessions .
Lol :)
for some reason i cannot see those pictures
all of 'em are little red X's
however my internet just went over the limit and it has slowed right down so that could be it

I hope that worked for you guys, I saved the pictures on my computer and added them here directly.
yeah those pics worked great man thanks
now i need some savings...
what bearings to they take? same 8mm as skateboards?
probably wouldn't be able to buy until early december
sorry if thats too long
Ah, Mad!
Yeah I think their 8mm bearings, I've never needed to replace or even check them.
Waiting until December is fine!
170$ and it's yours. (I feel 200 is ripping you)

is there a way so i can mark or monitor this discussion so i dont forget this?
Oh, thanks mate, though I doubt anyone will.
Umm...you can "follow this discussion" which means whenever a new comment is posted in it you'll get notified, probably by email. (That's down in the bottom right of the page)
I might leave a comment on both you and my asra pages to remind us about this, it's only a couple of weeks...
Thanks heaps, I hope you enjoy it as much as I first did.

ahhhhh gotcha
cheers, might be second week December though...
i called $170
Sorry, I think that phone is pretty much dead and useless now...
Umm usually it would be terrible for long distance, but if it's realy REALY shitty bitumen it might be good choice.
The board is a whopping 10kg and is fairly bulky, and rides 14cm high (nose/tail up to 20cm)
So in many ways it is the opposite of a LDP board.
But yeah it's still a top quality surfing cross trainer/toy and is still up for sale a Murdox hasn't bought it yet, so if you can beat him price-wise you can take it.

Isaac, i tried phoning & texting you on the number on your page. Did you get either message?
Is this still for sale? I might be interested depending how good you think it would be for long distance pushing (4 km) on shitty bitumen. What is the dimension from the ground to the top surface of the deck?
also with the battered grip tape
does Carve sell the tape in the funny cut shapes or do i make my own?
doesnt really matter but just checking
also how heavy are you? just determining flex levels since i discovered that there are three different levels
cheers
