I am looking for a wheel that can slide but is really fast? I was thinking flywheels 83mm 81a or gumballs 81a or 84a, or in heat purples or seismic speed vent 77mm 83a. Any thoughts?

Trust me, you do notice. The hard Vault 70mm are as quick as any other wheel I've ridden except orange tangs. The 76mm in the same compound are probably the slowest wheel I've ever used. I have no idea how or why but it is and it's very, very noticable. They're both great for busting out huge slides, since they're inherently icy, but the breakout and hookup aren't the most predictable.

Matt O'Leary, QUIT GROM-STALLING and just buy some wheels and learn to skate. You've come on here asking for advice. Our advice is, in case you missed it the first couple of times, JUST GET SOME. If you don't know how to pick between these wheels then you wouldn't notice a difference anyway.

Dude, use the search button now. You claim you did, yet why are you asking about vault wheels, there are many threads talking bout vaults and how shit they are (Well opinions).
Its guaranteed you wont notice a difference in speed in wheels, thats all the rider dude. Seriously roll a dice and choose some wheels, learn to skate well, then upgrade.

But seriously dude, if your after a good slide wheel. gumballs is where is't at.
