What made you Skate
Doing an assignment for uni and got to choose the topic so I chose my one love.
I need to do research though so I'm wondering if yous can help me out.
Just tell me what got you involved in skating to begin with and what makes you live your life by it?

Done. Reg I tried to keep it brief. The 70's was a blast and a bunch of mates made a movie about our surfing days. It's on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYuOwkrIg4A at 1:42 there are some of us skateboarding through Forest High School. One mate surfed Natural but skated Goofy, could not skate Natural or surf Goofy....freaky. Another one of my mates was an artist and did Gonad Man for Tracks Magazine. Happy times and great memories....the transition from black rubber wheels to urethane was amazing...sealed bearings were a welcome addition as well. Good luck in the assignment.

got bored of playing sports like soccer and tennis because it was becoming no fun. wanted to get into an extreme sport like bmx but my rents wouldnt let me. a lot of the older guys at my school were into longboarding so i decided to give it a try. got a cruiser and a downhill board and got hooked!

i started skating because my brother did. i then decided to buy a longboard because im a speedfreak, i love anything that goes fast
