Adobe premiere is the answer :3 On a serious note tough no, but premiere is far better then pinnacle, you should try it.

pinnacleHD was $3, im heading to the computer district to pick up premier tomoz, i thought it was going to come with the adobe pack (also $3) i got last time down there,

yeah its been a headache, i got up at 4 and sessioned all morning at a rad 4lane highway with double hairpin, and forgot to change my r3 setting on the gopro FUCK, was pissed off,

apple blows jacko, i love my laptop untill late at night time, and i can still turn it on in the morning.

stick HD vid up tomoz on vimeo anywau, minus the slowmo.

when it comes to video editing, nothing beats Final Cut Pro (Mac).

anyway, i played around with the R1 setting (60fps) the other day to test out the slowmo. didn't have any troubles with the footage.
are you converting the mpg files to something more edit friendly. cos files you get out of the gopro are purely for playback. you can get away with doing some editing with the gopro files but as soon as anything gets complicated, like trying to use the 60fps mode it seems to spit the dummy.
get yourself MPEG Streamclip. thats what i use to convert the video. takes a bit of playing around with before you get used to, but once you know what to do its quick and simple. let me know if ya need some help with it. i've figured out the best formats to convert to depending on the size of the file and stuff.
download mpegstreamclip and convert to apple intermediate codec at full quality and its ready for final cut. if u have final cut pro u can edit it right away without rendering, but if u have express u need to render first.
