Vernon is on this weekend. This is the IGSA event organised by Mischo.
Ozzies representing are Jacko, Bow, Leigh, Gabe and Yatesy.

For skateboards this is not a well thought out rule and everybody knows it. For streetluge its appropriate, for skateboard its just plain stupid.

I was involved in athletics for many years, and in sprinting they dont allow the hand or arm. It is the first athlete whose torso reaches the vertical plane of the closest edge of the finish line is the winner.
I think in skateboard racing it should be board/trucks or torso (head or body).
I was at the finish line at Newtons when someone lost to an outstretched arm, was it the horse? or reckless? I remember one of them saying, is it Canadian rules or IGSA, in the heat of racing, he forgot which type of finish he was suppose to do.
Racers like Mischo and K-rimes always finish with an outstretched arm no matter how close it is, good practice I suppose.

When the Chinese Government decide they want to win the IGSA World Cup, they will search China for skaters with orangutan size arms, to give them an extra edge in winning.

yeah i was pretty bummed, my wheels crossed the line first and i held my tuck, all of a sudden i see a hand reach beside me, apparently that means he wins. In my mind i beat him, but its all good i had a shit tone of fun!

Maybe he was looking to give you a reach around but missed the target. The win was just incidental

So if Jacko had his hand up he would have won. Or does mischo have extralong arms?
seems to me pretty obvious it should be wheels or head/torso, not an outstretched hand.

Jacko, next time get an inspector gadget hand and just fire it off ten meters from the finish line, hahaha!

Whoa yeah, what a weekend!
Juniors Final was intense, i outpushed Wolfgang another fast junior and took Alex Young in the first left hander and would have taken first place but i crashed in the second corner. Shit happens eh...
Rad time was had by all, really well organized race and no-one was seriously injured.
