Juniors final results are in

 

Kelly did really well.

In the semi finals, Kelly got pipped at the line and missed out on the final race. In the consolation final he made a sick pass at the main left hand corner. On exit he lost traction and crashed into the hay bales. He placed 8th overall. Fantastic racing, all the top juniors were there!!

 

Mens finals about to start. Jackson is up there, racing hard, feeling confident

Vernon DH 2011 open results

 

Apparently it has been an amazing day of racing.

Jackson made top 16 but crashed and popped his shoulder. He is ok, looks like no damage. No word on Cam, though he placed 14th in qualifying.

I dont have official results, though I do know Switzer won. Looks liek the Junior winner came second. And there was a Kiwi in the consolation final!! Anyone know Callum Mathieson? I think he came 7th overall.

Yeah I linked to that in my blog article.

Thought he might be part of one of the New Zealand skatehouses.

 

His race coincided with a magnitude 6 aftershock, thought it might be everyone cheering and foot stamping in NZ.

Kelly Carter was the highest placed Aussie!!!

Kelly Carter 11th
Jackson Shapiera 14th
Cameron Kite 53rd
Nathan Anderson 64th

 

I got my top 4 results wrong (thanks twitter)

Riley Harris came 4th. Kyle Martin crashed int eh semis.

 

And yes Callum from NZ came 7th.

Fuck yeah Kelly! Where did Broditch place? Or didn't he due to his shoulder? Hope he is all good.

Bowditch crashed and dislocated his shoulder bad. Had to go to hospital. He is ok but didn't race.

 

Does anyone know who Nathan Anderson is??

IGSA say he is from Australia, could be a mistake. Yatesy use to get classified as Canadian, so if you can mistake Yatesy as a Canadian, anything is possible!!
