hey dudes ;)

I want some slalom wheels cheap. Don't really have much gear to sell, so I could splash out and get some zigs or something, but I really don't have spare money. Am wondering if any of the vault wheels would be able to just grip. Does anyone have experience with them? I don't care how they slide, just don't want them sliding out while im pumping.

Thanks, DUDE

Get decent wheels for slalom or get hurt. If they break away when you least expect it you will eat pavement hard.

Get these:

They grip hard and they're quick. I rode these for GS at pumpstation earlier this year. The ride is pretty much the same as my 86a Zigzags. Get the green ones. The dye seems to make the black ones slightly icy if you ever do decide to slide them, but they won't ice out unless they're really heavily broken in.

Ok thanks for the help. Would those ones be better than these? Just some big, fat, soft wheels?

Yeah, I was actually going to suggest those as an alternative. Grippiest wheel I've ever ridden. Won't slide for love or money. You'll probably find the others are quicker for slalom though - less rolling resistance.
