Get your back parallel to the ground; that way your torso won't catch any air. Then get your back knee and rest it against against the calf of your front leg, so that your back leg is in the draft from your front leg. Keep your arms tight to your side. Don't be afraid to have all your weight forward, with your head in front of the front of your board.
sweet thanks man

looks ok to me dude. ideally you want that chest resting on your knee. to do that, by looking at the picture, you wanna drop that back leg a bit and sort of sit in it. that will drop your ass and you'll be able to rest your chest on your knee, which will make your tuck lower.
otherwise, your on the right track.
Also where u place your back knee up your front calf can determine some things. Having it placed up higher on your front calf will result in having less of an area for the air to "play around" in around your back thigh. But in doing so its normal pretty hard to get your chest right down to meet your front thigh. But having your knee low down your calf, towards your front ankle, will make it alot easier to get your chest down to meet your front thigh, but then again you get a bit more of an area for wind to play around in at your back thigh. Also i find slightly rolling your back ankle so you get the toe side leverage but it sits nicely in behind yourself. If that makes sense, try tucking in front of a mirror and try to get that perfect " T " shape, ive spent some time in front of my mirror looking at my tuck and seeing what to change. Thats just my thought, its all rider preference, what ever tuck you feel best in will most likely be your fastest tuck.
You have to try some different tucks to find whatever feels best. So long as you are aerodynamic, and have your chest at your thigh/knee as Leigh said, and you have lour legs in front of each other. I was really unstable when I firts started tucking, and then I realised it was because I kept both my feet straight (like parallel to the board lengthwise). But this clearly isn't how you normally skate when cruising/carving/sliding/freeriding, pretty much every type of skating. So I tried having them point to the edges (sides) of the board, and learned to tuck like that. You can see in Scott's photo, that is how he is doing it. And in yours, you are doing it like how I used to, with your foot pointing to the top of the board (this style just isn't how you skate normally which is why it seems to unnatural and unbalanced). But try different styles out, some people might prefer having their toes pointing forwards. But I definately suggest trying the method as seen in Scott's picture.
