Sup guys, wasn't sure where to post this but here will be okay hopefully.. Anyways I recently put a set of new 50 Calibers on my Wolf Shark, and was previously riding Paris 180s. Im currently using Abec11 Freerides so this doesn't really make sense but now when I hold out a slide, I get a noise like wheel chatter but I'm more than positive its the trucks. I just can't pinpoint what exactly is causing the noise, its not the wheels loose on the axle, I'm using bearing spacers too and when I loosen them to the point where I look like I'm riding a ripstick you can't hear the noise when I slide.. I know I sound like a stupid grom but I need to fix it and I feel like its affecting how far I slide..

Take the apart and put them together again, make sure nothings worn out.

Bring your board to shred the night and we'll have a look at it for you.

I was thinking of doing that, but the trucks are new so I wasn't sure.. Thanks man will do, hopefully I can work it out by then otherwise!
Try removing the washer from under the deck side bushing, and see if that stops the noise.
When the hole in the washer is bigger than the king pin, the trucks often make clicking noises.
Washers that are a tight it around the king pin are quieter.

Thanks Bernie, it definitely wasn't a clicking sound cause the washer wasn't rubbing on the kingpin thread but I took them apart this afternoon and put vaseline on all the washers/bushings/pivot cups that were in contact with other parts of the truck and that seemed to do the job!

Got vaso?
