ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Hey guys,

These jeans have gotten some big raves in the longboarding community in australia.

I haven't tried em personally but they look pretty good. They have a layer of Kevlar underneath the material.
The site helps to break down why they are worth the money.

Let me know what you think

They are not so much tough as wearable kevlar. The purpose is to have a stretch kevlar which is what you need in skating and a style that you can were out to the pub. Most Kevlar jeans are made for moto which requires no stretch with a meat head style and are really heavy gauge which is very uncomfortable to wear. The Shreds cost half the price of normal kevlar jeans but are much better suited to skating and much better suited to general wear. By no means will they replace a set of knee pads.

If you want to buy some I sell them at the HopShop

Yea, we have given them some serious testing up here at Cre8ive Sk8 and they are remarkably strong. As Robbo says they won't replace pads, but they will keep your skin on in a high speed slide along the road.

BTW, we sell them too (;-)>
