2 completely different boards so very difficult to compare. Is the total thought you have put into this just picking two boards to write a discussion about or have you thought more deeply about this. If so please share what those thoughts are, you will get better advice if you look like you have tried to look up some info and comment yourself rather than immediately relying on others to do it for you
charlie a drop speed is very similar to your dervish with bears. i have both boards (dervish, drop speed?, and after stepping up from my dervish the drop speed felt very similar and comfortable, if a bit on the short side.
the switch will feel a lot different, maybe not so different to a nemesis or a chinook, i woudnt know, i havent ridden a switch.
you might also want to broaden your options, eg. look at rayne, glyde (boards coming soon, from intel).
try a few boards and research what type you like best.
i take it you want to use the board for downhill, so find out what board you feel most comfortable on, eg. (what you feel most stable on, what feels the best for your tuck)
hope this helps
hes ridden jacobs nemmy isnt that just like a shorter fatter version of tyhe switch

Good luck finding a Drop Speed. As far as I know Landy have dropped it from their lineup. Sorry.
