I'm not an expert but i've just cut up some UHMWPE,
which means its a polyethylene, (like cutting board) but its as hard as hard can be,
before you start gettin into nylon blends. You cant cut it with a hand saw you need an
electrical saw or router.
I've beveled the edges app 10mm down at 45deg.
Three sets, sizes as in the pic, weight, in order top to bottom, 430g, 365g, 340g,
$12 a set, pick up in melb or
$8 express post satchel, or
2 or 3 sets into a $11 express post satchel.

Glove with the velcro Shoo Goo'd on.
Like Robbo said, Fluffy side goes on the glove, just in case you need to scratch yourself down south! -

another idea for attaching velcro onto gloves is by stapling them :)
