In theory its just the same as riding with one less screw/bolt, which i do often, hell i even rode with 2 for a while!

i would use it on a top mount but would not do anything to gnar on it

Just using this on a self made mini but the whole BP snapped in half when he was riding it... sent emails to landyatchz and they didnt respond.

My board got hit by a car, pretty lucky the deck didn't snap really

Topmount probably alright, but put it at the front.
