Flying to perth tommorow and want to take my timeline, i was planning on squeezing it in to a bag but it won't fit without really jamming and threatening to tear the bag so i need another means of bringing it. For other people who have flown domestically with QANTAS how did you take your boards?

I might ring up and ask if hand luggage is an option. Has anyone just checked it in as normal luggage and had it put underneath with everything else?
experiences?

Thanks.

as long as they fit in your back pack/ small suitcase you should be fine.. i managed to sneak on 14kgs of extra luggage in my 10kg carry on bag because i made it look like it wasnt heavy when i picked it up ..
it helps if you're mega strong eh?
remember to remove ur tools from ur hand carry. i got my allen keys confiscated on a domestic flight. "you might disassemble stuff on the plane" -.-

Sometimes they'll want you to check in the hangers. During my flight from melbourne to sydney, i was able to carry it onboard. Back from sydney, I was asked to remove them and check them in. Wheels show up as liquid in the xray and they will sometimes question you about them.

Duct tape is a no no. Mine was confiscated haha...

can you take ur trucks on the plane as carry on luggage?
I always forget to do that. Think I lost 3 or 4 skate tools to airport security in the last year.
