bit of a vague question...

any sort of speed above 20km/h - no

flatland carving / slashing - yes

different style of riding to any other truck out there. Not saying they are shit, but they are different. Trucks these days such as Paris, Randal, Bear bla bla bla all have a similar feel. they lean nice and they steer nice, and it comes down to the bushing thats in the trucks that determine how they ride, be it janky and loose or stiff for downhill.

Now the original trucks are designed around surf style riding, short, sharp and snappy turns. very responsive. They use a completely different mechanism than other longboard trucks to get this sort of turn. They do not use urethane bushings but instead tension from springs. They are not designed for fast downhill or racing, however they are designed to ride the pavement like you would a wave, they are designed to pump around and slash at the road, make sharp turns and carve deep lines. people have their own preference to which sort of trucks they wish to ride and automatically slag on originals because they cant "DH" but thats them, these trucks were designed to perform and they do just that, but they perform in a different way than most skate trucks on the open market do.

If you can get your hands on a board that has them set up i would suggest giving them a go, you might like them, you might not, but they are good trucks for what they are designed for.

thanks Jacko
