what happens when your getting something like a deck delivered?
obviously it doesnt go in your post box so do they leave it at your post office for you to collect or will the guy just put it on your stairs or something?

yeah sorry for the seemingly stupid question,

if you really want i can delete the thread once i get a good answer

If the package is over 104cm it has to be sent via courier. Get whatever it is you are getting sent to a mates place
Hey hey, If you tell them its a skateboard.. My post office people put the board diagonnaly in the postage box with stuff on top and bottom of it. Its a skateboard after all.. Ment to hold that sorta punishment :P

gabe is organising shipping from sydney to QLD and he said it would be $25 so ill let him sort that end of the deal out.
i might just go to my post office tommorow and ask them what the dealio would be for a 39inch board
Its not so much about your post office, its about gabe's
As mentioned above, just make sure you check how long they hold things for. From memory, they usually hold it for up to 14 days but best to be certain.
35 to perth via courier. If they live outside of perth it can cost upto $50 via courier. Shipping to WA is like shipping the NZ, except NZ is closer

I work for aussie post it will go with the parcel contrator to your door and a card will be left in your letterbox telling you wich post office it has been left at if your not at home
if you want it held go to your post office and fill out a hold mail form and all your mail will be held till you get back .
oh sweet!
that sounds super good postal. ill go down to mine tommorow and ask if they can hold a board till i get back :)
don't bother asking dude,
they hold it for weeks before they return to sender.
Even if by chance the first notice of pickup slip gets lost. They send you another one as a reminder before they send it back.

I live in a terrace house in the city of sydney and they would never leave anything on my door. All depends the style of house and where you live
