wow u guys r nice
What did you expect? If everyone posted when they got a new board there would be a LOT of topics on this forum that in no way contributed to the community. No one on the internet cares at all if you have a new switch and your thread will likely be met with trolling and "cool story bro" because that is what it is, a cool story. Its even more annoying than the "Wat WHEels R gud 4 SlyDn anD DOWNHILL I WANNWLEAVETHANE" threads. You asked no question, gave no information and in no way has this thread done anything for skating in Australia other than give a few people a good chuckle.
The people that WILL care are you local crew. Rock up to a sesh with a new board and people will be interested. They'll be psyched that you're skating and have your own set up. They'll want to try it, talk about it and your board will be the center of attention for 15 or so minutes. Tell your friends about it, get them interested in skating. But don't tell me cause I don't care.
Bottom line is I and most of the people on this forum don't know you and don't skate with you so it doesn't really concern us. Therefore we don't care and will probably just poke fun. I don't understand why you thought the entire Australian longboarding scene had to know about your new board. Post it on facebook or something ffs and don't clog the forums with crap that no one cares about.
1 out 4 people who have so far commented on this thread are Kooks. The remaining 3 are funny as fuck and made me laugh!
