I was going to get a Nemesis but after some research I'm considering the Nelson Spindrift. Has anyone ridden one of these? I'm mostly concerned about the weight of this board.. I liked the idea of the Nemmy being bamboo and lighter and expect the Spindrift to be heavier but was wondering if anyone knows how much heavier? I'm into doing alot of early grabs and would live it if the board left the ground a little ;)
Also any thoughts and feedback on the board? Thanks

from what i have seen lately i wouldnt expect a nemi to hold up to early grabing drops for very long, sick boards but the neck seems to be a serious weak point under high loads. the nelson topspin would be a wiser choice.
ask mack daddie he has one ive riden it for a little bit cool boards ........

Raynes bamboo construction doesn't go too well in a 1 inch drop, so the point of drop becomes a weak point which may lead to delamming which a lot fo people experience. They just need to up their quality control, since some people get boards that delam quickly, and some get indestructable tanks.

I dont know about official specs, but generally (as you already said), bamboo IS lighter than maple. Just up your strength, early grabs will be find on the nelson after some practice.
