ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

G'day Guys
Iv recently been looking at getting off my cruiser and hitting something with a bit more length and stability. Im a pretty heavy surfer so as you can pick thats influenced my style heaps and means I need something pretty lose for carves and slides.
But the guys I'm skating with are all pretty rad bombers and I need something that will keep up. The hills arnt super hectic but you do get a fair shit load of speed.
- Iv been recently looking at the rayne rival with caliber 44's and otang 86a's. This boards got a heap of rocker and fits your foot really nice so I'll have a heap of grip while sliding but I'm not to sure how well it handles it's self downhill
- The other board iv been looking at is the original freeride 41 with kingpins and same wheels the boards are pretty similar design wise but the freeride has a little more rocker is a little more heavy duty

What do you guys think would be the better choice for someone who froths a little bit of down hill and is a heavy carver and slider
Cheers guys

The Rayne. Best thing about it is that it isn't an Original
