I have been skating for a fair while on my longy, but only really just cruising around; i have pushed upto 60km/h once, and never really learnt to slide or dance. The thing is my deck is a solid plank of hardwood, without any grip on top and is extremely narrow at only a shade over 6" wide.
After meeting up with some of the guys on here for a sesh in olympic park i realised i need to upgrade my hardware if i want to start learning new things and pushing my skill up... I've always liked the look of Loaded Decks, but cant decide between a Tan Tien or a Bhangra.
I cant slide, or dance [yet], the flashiest i get is a pretty dodgy nose manual; but i want to learn a bit of cross step and get into sliding so i can get upto scratch and run with the bombsquad sessions. So which deck have you ridden/would recommend? I have heard the bhangra is pretty big and heavy for a campus cruiser, so was thinking about a Tan Tien - smaller and more portable, but still wide enough to learn a few steps.
I am just going to purchase a deck as i currently have Paris 180's and 65mm Speed Demons 83A's; might look at switching up to Orang's at the next payday.
