Im still hooked on A Perfect Circle, have been for years. I recently went to WOMAD and saw a isralie based band called the Idan Rachel Project. They are fantastic and feature artists from all around the world. Defently worth checking out, I believe they have a myspace profile. Bob Marley, cant beat Bob.

I almost forgot to mention a local bloke over here named James. He started a solo thing a couple of years back called Eat Paint but has since formed a band under the name. Really mellow Acoustic rock with some Electric and an absolutley fantastic voice. Do yourself a favour and check him out, he is by far Adelaides best local thing to be in the scene at the moment. (except me of course)

its weird to see what poeple listen to. i grew up after the real punk rock skate scene, but thats where i still am. bands like leftover crack, choking victim, blood for blood, the gc5, i like nagry sounding music with gruff voices.

I'm a big fan of Brant Bjorks work.
He has played in some great bands over the years, put out some great solo albums as well as the albums he put out with the Bro's. (Brant Bjork and the Bro's) A good one to look out for is an album called 'Sounds of liberation' by a band called Che. Brant does the vocals and the guitar work. One of those albums that you always go back to...
Thats if you like rock. - if you are into dancing around your lounge room in your undies may i suggest some !!! or 'chk chk chk'. They released an outstanding album a bit back called Louden up now. Its not your regular doof doof... its like punk meets dance music. In short, its awesome stuff.

Haggy, Im still a little damaged from watching it!! The dvd copy i saw had the whole last "show" (read: street fight) including following him down the street naked tryin to hide from the cops just before he died,.. the "show" was just a scary ridiculous craziness!!!!! My fave is "I wanna fuck myself"
