ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Well, as some of you may or may not already know, our good friend Mtn Mick was involved in a tragic accident prior to Master of the Hill. He's the man who discovered our lil gem "The PumpStation" and has beeen the host for countless sessions everytime people want to ride there, sweeping the track, hauling down equipment etc.
On friday afternoon (while setting up for Moth) he suffered a major wound to the foot (amongst many other injuries) after colliding head on with a streetluge, while he was riding his new speedboard.
They both colided at the fastest part of the track with a combined speed of over 100km/h. Micks foot went under the front of the luge and broke the front truck however in the process opened up his foot with a 7" gash.
To my knowledge he's still in hospital and will not be able to work for nearly 3 months!

After hearing the news, our community has banded together and donated equipment in a bid to have it auctioned off to raise funds to help him in his time of need.

There will be some premium equipment up for grabs with a reserve price to ensure we can raise enough to help out.

Listed below will be items available to bid on with their min. reserve price.
I'm going to list the items I have with me now on ebay and will post a link so you can bid.

Duff are you sure????
Man that luge is worth more than $1000, I'll offer $220 only cause thats what I can afford but I think thats a bit of an insult.
If I had a spare $1000 I'd give you that too!
*Sorry edited and reposted*

Ok now that i have officially been called a dickhead that has my head up my own ass for not donating anything to this auction, i've put together a little something to raise some cash. Seeing that i don't have anything worth donating i thought what the hell i'll put my luge up for sale.

You could race this as is but with a few modifications to make it into a pegless, this will be a competitive board. I just put on some invader trucks and old cherry's so the new owner can at least ride it right out of the box but all you need is 3x215 Indy trucks and a set of Abec 11 Flys (Anyone have some flys they want to throw in? Hopkin racing?) and you'll be on the start line at Bathurst.

EDIT - Just to clarify when i say "race ready" it does need some work to pass tech. Such as adding bumpers front and rear and also modifying the handles so they aren't the "knife handle" type. Also for those interstate bidders just keep shipping in mind as all up with the case it will probably be around 20kgs

What's included

- 1 x Streetluge
- 2 x invader trucks
- set of worn cherry's
- BRAND NEW set of Omni Pro Series CERAMIC bearings
- carry/travel case

Replacement cost - over $1000!

Reserve - $200!!!!!

Bearings alone are worth nearly $100!

Shit even if you don't want to ride it, hang it in your shed, pool room, behind your bar whatever. It's the only one i have to sell and to build something similar will cost $700 plus weeks and weeks of your time, blood, sweat & tears.

Phill C @ $220 so far
It's ok guys, it's been sitting in my shed for the last few years gathering dust, and realisticly i won't ride it now that i have my RB board.

Plus i'd rather it flying down conrod at 120km/h with the new owner grinning from ear to ear than leave it in the shed missing out on all the fun!
$195 for Jacko's carveboard
$200 for the carveboard
