For those that have skated Mt Panorama a question, what would be your perfect set up to skate it; not what did you skate it with but in the perfect world what would you skate it with and why?

I know most of you guys have differing riding styles and preferences and I'm just interested to see how diverse this will be.

Aych,
This is probably a can of worms question...lundburg won on a sector nine top mount with kahalanis, scoot rode an evo, lots of people rode big zigs etc...

My two cents is that this mountain is gnarly! and is all about skill level. Scoot (world champ) commented that it was the most challenging course on the circuit. I didnt compete last year in the downhill but raced the slalom and eagerly took note of all the riding that went down.

The surface is so unbelievable sweet that it offers the least resistance to your urethane so just feels fast! Conrod is loong and straight so something stable cause in a tuck your gunna be absolutely blazing!!! (slalom on conrod was fast and it only started halfway up!)

Forest elbow is a killer corner which bought some of the best in the world unstuck (Mischo, Lundburg) the top is steeper than it looks on TV. All round a really challenging course which most people were also throwin down some high speed foot breaking just to stay on track.

In all i think racers will need anything they feel comfortable on that is stable enough to push up towards the 100klm mark, with some BIG NUTS, and some RIPPIN STYLE!!!!!!!
Topmount to stick those corners!
what ever your used to ridding bro...i love my zigs i havent forund a wheel that performs better under all conditions but its all up to the ridder...
its 10 percent gear and 90 percent ridder...
its going to be way way way more diverse than you could ever dream of. When we have the world champs on theres gonna be dudes coming out of the wood works left right n center riding shit you have never heard of. If you want diversity in boards and riding styles the world championships is where its at. Fuck you might even see Andrew Mercardo rock up with his Madrid top-mount and Indy 215s! (yes he swears by those trucks, any hill, any country)
aha, interesting to hear someone actually still rides indy 215s. i've got a few sets, think i'll set something up with em.
yeah, there are so many more options out there this year compared to the last. its going to be good to see the difference between how the track was ridden the first year and how it will be ridden this year. grip and stability is something that has improved tremendously since then, so it will definitely be interesting.
