Longboarding with the Kahuna Big Stick - Approve?

I'm wondering who's tried these things yet.  I was a bit skeptical when I first heard about longboarding with the Kahuna Big Stick, but after trying one I couldn't put it down. I found they're awesome for flat land and actually really fun for carving.  What do you guys think?

On our skate to Canberra, we made some out of shear necessity to save out legs. - big stick + car tyre and race tape.

I will be definitely getting my hands on a proper one for the next trek

I kinda like the idea, how fast can you push yourself with it?
You usually go about as fast as you would pumping with your foot.  It sort of depends on what you're riding.  It's a lot easier to keep your speed up when going downhill, and it makes long-distance riding heaps better.

Gay as aids
I love in thier vid how they intro buttons as a team rider and then he continues to say he's been using one for 3 months, lol what a pro. So who does he compete against anyway? He certainly wins the comp for standing furthest at the back on a pintail.
But seriously, they are a great idea for riding on the flat, I just don't have much desire to ride on the flat is all.
