Who is interested in this form of skating.?
What is the furthest you have skated in one session.?
What is your setup for distance skateing.?
Do you push or pump.?
My best efort sofar is 50km on a sector9 trilam 180randals 73mm75a siesmics.
It took 3hrs half headwind half tailwind 80%pumping 20%pushing.

yeh been thinking about long distance skating as well...ive done 12km from adelaide to mitchell park took about an hour i was on an avenger with paris coltons and inheats, not really a set up for long distance but it was the board i had at that time.
would like to do cairns to adelaide in 2012, i think that would be sick. still looking for a descent set up at the moment, its a toss up between a demonseed dee lite or the pusher v2 that adam colton used to skate morocco. im thinkin of doing it for a good cause but not sure which one yet.
that sydney to canberra sounds good. unfortunately i dont have time to do it this year coz of study and kinda strap for cash but would be keen to do it next year coz ill finish my course. so hopefully you guys are still keen next year

adam colton does long distance trips for cancer and stuff all of the time. Few good tips on his site check it out.

anyhoot. so i'm ready to get on this long distance thing for real. planning skating from sydney to canberra before the annual conehead cup weekend there in september. i'm sure i will be checking in for tips on packing, etc...

to solve the problem of camping and carrying warm gear for the cold nights... Robbo can follow us in my car with the gear. :)

Awesome, Robbo is in as support crew. It'll be fun robbo, following behind in the car at 5kmh drinking beer and watching movies on your ipad while Trav and I sweat it out, haha!

haha, sure Robbo's excited on the inside... the first day he could probably just chill at home, leave and catch up in the arvo.. although prob an idea to get a lift outside the city onto the highway..
alright going to start training, see what distances can expect to cover in a day!
