ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

OK, it isn't quite live yet, but the ASRA crew plus other volunteers have arrived, and we're busy setting up here at the Scout Camp. Tomorrow we'll be busy with last minute stuff, plus rider check-in which starts at midday.

It's wet, and the forecast is for the rain to continue until Thursday night. After that it should be mostly clear.

There's a lot of wildlife here - possums, deer, bush turkeys, lyrebirds and the most common of all - leeches. This place is seriously crawling with leeches - salt is supposedly the thing to ward them away.

A friendly leech outside our front door

See you all tomorrow at rider check-in.

To all the guys who helped out with the Live times, Especially you Bugs...

On behalf of everyone here out in internet land who couldn't make it to the event the Live stats are the next best thing.

It's unreal that we can be sitting here waiting in anticipation of results, and get them straight as they happen.

Keep up the good work guys!

Agreed 100% (Jack Meyn's mum)

Bugs, you are the man. Just out of hospital after open heart surgery and straight into online results. Thanks heaps mate. Are you doing the same for Newtons? Sounds like a great race and here's looking forward to Bathurst and this time in 2 weeks when BtB is over and we can relax (;-)>

Thanks again mate, it was great to be able to follow the races from so far away.

Thanks for the updates Bugs, I've been refreshing this page all weekend! Legend.

Great job bugs, haggy, robbo - all the ASRA crew and the volunteers. Was the smoothest event I've ridden with plenty of runs for everyone, hard to beleive for its first year. Stella job done by all! And best of all the atmosphere on track was epic with the crowd goin off, bring the stoke on to Bathurst! Also cheers for all the great pics from various people!
