Landyachtz Switch - Speeboard?

Hey,

I have a Landyachtz Switch longboard :O and I love it, for freeride and a bit of downhill. But i want to get more into Downhill and was wondering if I could use my switch as a speedboard, instead of buying a new speedboard. I believe it has the characteristics of a good speedboard...  12 ply maple, dropped 1 inch, 41 inches long, no flex... but everyone seems to use it as a freeride board :S

what Do you think i should do?

- Buy some Saber or downhill cast trucks and some centrax or downhill wheels, for the switch

- Buy a complete new speedboard (same setup as above)
