ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

I have been reading a lot of discussions and it is obvious there are 2 types of members.

The serious skaters that this site was more than likely intended for. Hence the name.

And.....

The not so serious skater that is just having fun and wants to talk about skating.

Has anyone ever pondered the question of dividing the site into 2 somehow, so that there is a serious skaters section and a section for the not so serious?

This way the serious skaters won't have to put up with all the dribble.

I am a not so serious noob, old fart skater, bro, dood, man..............

Just a thought.

There are two types of people on the world; those who divide the world into two types, and those who don't. I'm in the latter group.

Wax on or Wax off?...... that is the question

2 is infact equal to 1. So, in no way CAN 2 be better than 1 as they're the same.

how does 2=1?

Like for example the way that the following group is private?

Everyone sates for fun, even the serious ones. If you no longer skate for fun, you should no longer skate.

New skaters are one thing, everyone was new at everything at one stage. It's a learning process. Lack of common sense is another thing, not to be tolerated and always to be pointed out (in my opinion anyway).

In the same way that there are 10 types of people, those that understand binary and those that dont!

Ok...now I'm confused.

I still fail to see how 1=2 in a mathematical sense. Also I have 0 understanding of binary, apart from the fact that it's made of 1's and 0's.

Ge I'm bored

I guess the two could be considered a subset of the whole (aka 1).

Wait, im bored also!

I'm seriously crap at skatin, but serious about enjoying it,

do i belong to both groups?

Bernard, the site may be loaded with new inexpierienced guys all throwing there two cents in,but that is what groms do!

i suppose its there own way of gathering information and squeezing out a response...eventually they learn and start to chill out....

make your own desicions about who talks rubbish and who is worth listening to.....after a short period of time you get to know who is a constant shit talker and who isnt.....remembering,nothing has contributed to the growth in the sport like asra has..its provided a great way for people to access and learn about our sport...

we need to have patience and help show them the ways,...open doors dont close them.
