Homemade slide glove materials

Hi, im pretty new to longboarding and I need some slide gloves. I know how to make them, but what materials should I use? As in, Velcro v.s glue to stick pucks, manufactured or homemade pucks and types of gloves. Also, where might I get these materials from?

just get gardening gloves or soccer glovers and glue some tiles to them wen u slide the tile smells awesome
