Where are you ment to be grabbing? I was trying to learn it this afternoon and the only viable placement is between your legs? but then thats stink buggin' or should it be like a colemen/pendulum.

Very well written by Jacko.
I was trying this because it seem right at the time since i grab opposite for toeside but its impossible to keep your weight over the board hence why i pulled the rail abit to much to bring two wheels off the ground. Will learn the heelside today grabbing behind the knee and no hands.
Also where should you regain traction? at the line that best crosses the corner or just shed some speed then turn into the corner? like a speed check.
Thanks for the help boys.

But watching videos, its sliding before like you said but into the corner so that you dont need to turn more for that corner because once you slide into it you have full control of what your going to do next.

Also in afew videos it mentions that your slingshotted out the corner to i assume that once you've finished drifting almost through the corner and regain traction your back at a greater speed then what you would be when you hard turn and loose traction and drift.
You can pre-drift into the corner, and regain traction, then enter the turn, but my understanding was that you drift into a better race line and sort of transfer the drift into the turn... (You could also, if going that fast, hold the drift into, and part way through, the turn as well)
otherwise it would just be a speed check wouldn't it?
yeah you can do either (drift into the corner or pendy before). predrifting is interpreted many different ways. watch the video Pre active Pre drifter

Think i got it, just gottaput it to practical applications.
You need more speed to practice, and a corner that you can actually predrift into works best as well
