Research and spelling buddy. Learn them.
You're comparing a $190 deck with a $260 deck so nothing we can say is going to help you.
Call one of the skate stores on this page (move your eyes 3 inches to the right) or shoot them an email. Pricing and specs are on the Hopkins website.
I have a kalai, and I love it. The flex is just nice, firm enough for light bombing and flexy enough to be fun and comfortable, if you aren't chasing something with nose and tail kicks I'd pick the kalai any day, just because of the price point, the build quality is great, and you have something different to the trendy gear.
haven't ridden a tan tien but i have a dervish and they are well made durable boards. rode my mates kalai a few times and it's a great board too, i reckon you'd be happy with either. up to you how much money you want to spend and if you want the kicks and all that. flip a coin or go with what you think looks better?
