glorified popsicle..

hi all, i have read up on buying a new deck so i can finish painting my slalom deck, and i was thinking of a bustin maestro mini, but then i read that it was like a normal skate board but with less durability, so i looked at some downhill skateboards, (like early noodles and ricta and landyachtz loco's)
would they work with 150's? as they are the trucks i have laying around.
and in your opinion, which would you go for. Thanks!
