I just bought a full face helmet that was originally for bmx. I was wondering what was the best way o make a sturdy visor for this helmet?

i made this one after reading the link above. You might want to make a litle washer to go between the screws and the helmet to allow the visor to open,
by the way what kind of helmet did you get?
no i dont have a template... to make a template tape to pieces of printer paper together and draw the opening of you helmet the add the bolt tabs and make it a bit bigger if you like to get it symmetrical cut out one half of the template and then draw it onto another two pieces of paper
yes acrylic should work as apparently Plexiglas (what i used) is just a brand of high grade acrylic

nahh sunny coast mate.. have you figured every thing out?... and do you know where are you are gonna get the acrylic from?

sweet... good luck and post up picks when youve finished it .. and what thickness are you going to be using?
yeah try and get 2-4mm, 2 is easier to work with but i used 4mm and it worked
