nope

clark rubber?

There was heaps of home board building going on in kitesurfing, with a whole range of foams and skins. Check forums on seabreeze.com.au. I haven't looked into it in ages but it may be a place to start. Otherwise some surf shops may sell foam - or Tom Wegner builds surfboards somewhere near there.  Be careful: epoxy and polyester are not compatible so make sure you know what you're using

ok thanks so much for that info!

Hey mate, if your using the foam as a mould and not a core, well either really, polystyrene wont work.

If you are using it as a mould, find a local insulation company and you should be able to buy a sheet from them for about 25-30 dollars.

I got creative with polystyrene as a mould one time and 48mm of mould cave came out as about 2mm. Hopefully thatll save you some time.
