Constructive or not?
Im not really convinced on this film but either way you look at it Noah and Patrick are gnarly riders and Sector 9 has a huge bucket of acid tabs out the back.

My two cents:
Noah and Patty are gnarly riders that's for sure but I don't think films like this are very constructive. Skating communities around the world are working so very hard to try to legitimise this sport and have it taken seriously by the general public, councils and law authorities. Speeds above 70 call for leathers and full face helmets. The caution at the beginning warns that a properly suited helmet should be worn at all times and those helmets are certainly not that. Dive bombing on coming traffic is a stupid thing to do as well both for your own safety and the safety of the drivers.
Like I said, these guys ooze style and grace on a board but that was a huge let down. Let's hope Drop turns out better.

that film was rad, they can bomb however they wanna bomb. i do not see this film in any way affecting the sport of longboarding in a negative way, your just having a winge...

I think its kind of irresponsible. The swerving towards cars is just dumb.
If YOU do something stupid that wont hurt anyone else but yourself,... I dont care.

that was fast and gnar, probs the best sector vid ive seen, usally its a bunch of pussys stlying for the cameras, this was hectic and dangerous with stlye and skill, , how about when the bike almost took the bro out,,, i want some of that acid too,,

Haha the bike was hectic Rob, I dont think the bread bowl is the only bowl the producers had been using.
Andrew, I don't think it will take the fun out of it. What you do when you skate is your business but I think when making a DVD that is trying to show the world what our sport is all about and potentially reach the masses then some sort of restraint should be shown. Once the cameras are off I suppose you are more able to take risks like that if it floats your boat. Like Matt said though, once you start endangering other people it becomes selfish.
