hey ben yeah wicked board i think ..... i am really liking it i have only riden it once with all the rain around but loved every minute of it but yeah randals are sic i think but saying that im only new to longboards and have only riden randal paris trucks ..... i have looked at bears on hopkins n stuff n they look good as and was very close to buying some but didnt ......i think this one s a keeper for sure ....

did your board bite with randals is that why you changed to bears .....cuz i skated it with matty leadfoot and he had a feel and it bit pretty hard ...does not bite with me but im only 60kgs

na no wheelbite mate.  I swapped for the Randals when one of the Bear's baseplate snapped.  The board was OK with the Randals but I did not like the feel with a bit of speed.  The Bears feel much more stable (not flipped btw), maybe because the fit is more tight around the bushings... or maybe it's just me!

Hey, best thing is I let you have a spin with the 9two5/Bears next time and you can tell me :-)

yeah bro sic that would be awsome cuz never riden bears.......i didnt flip my hangers i was just wondering about all that more so after i read that bear 1040s i think you can flip them back and forth from 42 degrees to 52degrees thats what got me thinkin about bears but then i asked around n most people said that should go for one or the other base plate not one that does both ..what do u think....but the over sized axles turned me off you need bigger bearings or somthing

Blake, the 1040s are 40 degree baseplates with 10mm bearings, i dunno what angle they go to if you flip them, but its the 852s that are 52 degree and 42degree flipped, with 8mm bearings. Unless your doing heaps of early grabs and rough stuff, go with the 852's and dont flip them. They are good the way they are

the 852s are 47* flipped and 57* unflipped
No they aren't they are called 852's for a reason 8mm axle 52 degree baseplate. Flipping changes the camber and height of the axle NOT the pivot angle which is what impacts on turning.
