The GPS stuff is interesting, but only does 30fps video, and a narrower field of view. ill stick with my gopro for now!
and not sure if its just my computer, or you tube, but the footage is very jittery

Yeah i also noticed that. also it said that it shoots in HD 720 p but isnt the go pro 1080 full HD? therefore id be a downgrade in quality? How much is it going for? and how much is a go pro? im looking to buy a new video cam for chirstmas.

It's really nothing special.
It shoots in 30fps at 720p as opposed to the GoPro which shoots at 60fps at 720p or 1080p.
The contents of the box is "GPS HD camera, Helmet/Flat surface mount, goggle mount, rechargeable battery, 2GB SD card and a USB cord", which is pretty stingy compared to all the GoPro's bag of tricks. As it is a new product, they can and will charge the big bucks. It also only shows a 135 degree camera optic and is only waterproof to 1m (for 30 minutes). It also looks kind of weak, but obviously nothing much can be told by the picture.
Ok, i admit being able to see your top speed, current speed and altitude is kind of cool, but does it all weigh up?

I'd buy one anyway just to be different, but that's just me.
Looks a bit more awkward and flimsier design than the a GoPro though.

Specs don't come close to the gopro ,but the extra functions indicate a big shift in what we will see in 2011, I'll have a game changing update in a week or two in the world of POV , stay tuned !!!!!!

It does have a couple things over the gopro. An LCD with proper info displayed is a major plus. The gopro mixes things around as you change resolution, you only get 60fps at 720 not at 1080 and you only get 127 degree field of view when your in 1080p.

That unit looks like it might have the same guts as the "Contour HD GPS" that's marketed in North America, since the features, package contents and orientation of the unit appear the same. The GoBandit has some features Contour doesn't though.
With the Contours, they record in higher resolution than GoPro at 60fps, and with a wider point of view. At 30fps, they also record at higher resolution than the GoPro. It's also adjustable for metering, exposure, mic sensitivity, etc...via USB controls. GoPro remains king, but some of these cameras are getting pretty darn good.

doesnt look all that gd and if your interested in the gps stuff, look at the contour gps, they are great
