ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for coming along and making it such a great success. looks like we managed to raise about $12,000 for the Cancer Council.

I'd like to thank all the guys who helped out over the weekend with Marshalling, driving, putting up and bringing in Hay bales/signs/etc, etc.

Sorry we stopped the event early when Luca was hurt but I was about to call time, anyway, as we had had 10 offs in the last 3 runs and crew were obviously getting tired and their gear getting too worn.

Those guys who watched as Elena unloaded Hay Bales but didn't offer to help - thanks heaps.

I am writing this as a personal message and it may not reflect the thoughts of the rest of the committee. I'd like to see BtB remain an annual event on the Aussie DH calendar, but there is only so much a group of 7 or 8 people can achieve without the help and cooperation of the riders and families who attend. The majority of riders were awesome and pitched in and helped all weekend and beyond, but the few who didn't leave a sour taste.

Once again, we had a great weekend on a great hill and hope to be back better next year.

Cheers all

great to see a good cause can benefit from what we love to do.

congrats to the team that put this on.
Count me in again Ado, I had a ball and enjoyed helping out. Great result with that amount of money raised, hopefully you can double it next year.
Cheers
