Event Description
The 2012 Yarra Ranges Downhill Festival is Victoria's first legal, closed road slalom/downhill race event. It's been a long time coming but will be a chance for us to show the locals that downhill skaters are not 'playing russian roulette with cars' (thanks Tracy) and are above all, awesome to watch.
Schedule
Downhill Racing, Slalom, Music, Barbecue all in one jam packed day of fun. If you call yourself a long boarder and live in Melbourne, you better be there.
What does it cost?
- $55 for downhill
- $15 for slalom and $5 for the Penny riders
- All riders receive free raffle tickets!
Registration
Open Registration will begin on Thurs, November 11th at 7pm (AEST). Payment is made via Paypal at time of registration. Once rego is paid there will be no refunds for any reason, you use it or you lose it.

U15 Penny is for the next generation of slalom and downhill riders, and this will be the first event, other than a Penny promo tour, where kids on Penny are invited to have a go at dodging cones.
The Penny course will be set to be easy and safe.
Hopefully we can send a few kids home inspired, with grinning parents.

Yea sound good ill have a roll on the luge always open to ride roads that are closed .

Hey everyone, rego for the first closed road downhill event in Vic will open today on here. All competitors for the downhill divisions will need to register and download the waiver form and bring it on the day.
